Terms of Service

Effective July 27, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Handler Shopify application, the websites at handlerapp.io and app.handlerapp.io, and related services provided by Faintest Ink, LLC (“Handler,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By installing, purchasing, accessing, or using Handler, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and the Shopify merchant or other organization you represent.

1. Eligibility and authority

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement and must have authority to install and use Handler for the applicable Shopify store. If you use Handler on behalf of a company or other entity, that entity is responsible for your use of the service.

2. The Handler service

Handler provides tools for reviewing and modifying Shopify product handles and URL redirects. Depending on the available features and selected plan, Handler may provide:

We may add, change, improve, suspend, or discontinue features as the service develops. We will seek to provide reasonable notice when a material change significantly reduces paid functionality.

3. Shopify

Handler is an independent application that operates through Shopify’s platform and APIs. Shopify is not a party to these Terms and does not control or guarantee Handler.

Your use of Shopify remains governed by your agreements with Shopify. Handler’s availability can be affected by Shopify permissions, APIs, billing systems, platform policies, outages, or changes outside our control.

4. Installation and account access

Handler relies on the permissions granted during Shopify installation. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account, controlling staff access, and ensuring that only authorized users can access Handler.

Actions performed by an authorized Shopify user may be attributed to that user in Handler’s activity records.

5. Plans, trials, billing, and catalog limits

Paid subscriptions and charges are initiated and managed through Shopify. Prices, billing intervals, trial terms, and plan limits are presented before purchase or plan selection.

Handler’s self-service plans may be limited by the total number of products in the merchant’s Shopify catalog. Catalog counts can include active, draft, archived, and unlisted products.

Trial allowances and plan limits are enforced on the server. Attempts that fail before a covered change is completed are not intended to consume trial usage, although temporary reservations may be used while an operation is in progress.

You are responsible for reviewing the selected plan, price, limits, and Shopify approval screen before accepting a subscription.

6. Merchant responsibility for changes

Product handles and URL redirects can affect storefront URLs, bookmarks, advertising links, search-engine indexing, analytics, integrations, and customer navigation.

You are responsible for:

Handler does not guarantee improvements in search rankings, traffic, conversion, or other business outcomes.

7. History and undo

Handler may retain change history and provide recovery or undo tools, but not every change will remain recoverable.

A restore can be unavailable or skipped when, for example:

Handler revalidates current Shopify state before eligible recovery actions. You should not treat Handler’s history as a substitute for a complete store backup or disaster-recovery system.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use Handler to:

9. Support

Support is available at [email protected]. We will make reasonable efforts to respond and resolve reported issues, but do not guarantee a particular response or resolution time unless separately agreed in writing.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how Handler processes information and is incorporated into these Terms.

11. Ownership

Handler, including its software, design, branding, documentation, and other materials, is owned by Faintest Ink, LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable charges, we grant you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable right to use Handler for your own authorized Shopify store operations.

You retain ownership of your store information. You grant us the limited rights necessary to process that information to provide, secure, support, and improve Handler.

12. Feedback

You may provide suggestions or feedback voluntarily. You grant us permission to use that feedback without restriction or compensation, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission.

13. Third-party services

Handler depends on third-party services, including Shopify and infrastructure providers. We are not responsible for the availability, conduct, terms, or independent actions of third-party services.

14. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Handler and uninstall it through Shopify Admin. Subscription cancellation and billing effects are governed by the applicable Shopify billing process.

We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address nonpayment, security risk, unlawful conduct, material breach of these Terms, abuse of the service, or a platform requirement.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and accrued payment obligations—will survive.

15. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Handler is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, noninfringement, uninterrupted availability, and error-free operation.

We do not warrant that Handler will detect every issue, prevent every conflict, preserve every historical record indefinitely, or restore every change.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of the exclusions above may not apply to you.

16. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Faintest Ink, LLC and its members, employees, contractors, and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, traffic, rankings, goodwill, data, or business opportunities arising from or related to Handler.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising from or related to Handler will not exceed the greater of:

These limitations apply regardless of the theory of liability and even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose. They do not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service or applicable requirements change. We will post updated Terms on this page and revise the effective date. Continued use after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
